2. What I collect, and why

I do not sell your data, use it for advertising profiles, or share it with anyone except the service providers listed below.

3. Where your data is stored (service providers)

  • Website hosting and database (incl. form submissions and uploaded photos for the bonus chapter): Abacus.AI, Inc. (United States)
  • Occasional update emails (only if you opted in): EmailOctopus. Your email and topic choices are imported there when I send an update.
  • Email replies: Gmail (Google)
  • Analytics: none

Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA (for example in the United States or the UAE). Where they do, transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, as offered by each provider.

4. How long I keep it

  • Resource requests without update consent: up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Update subscribers: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
  • “Ask me anything” messages: up to 24 months after my last reply.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site uses no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, so there is no cookie banner. The only cookies are the strictly necessary ones that keep the site working (for example, the admin login).

Links to Amazon, IngramSpark, Goodreads, AI First Club and social networks take you to other websites with their own privacy policies.

6. Your rights

You can ask me to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, object to its use, or withdraw consent at any time (every update email has an unsubscribe link). Write to [email protected]. I will reply within one month.

If you are in the EU you may also complain to your data-protection authority (in France: the CNIL, www.cnil.fr).

7. Children

This website is intended for adults. Resources about AI for kids are addressed to parents. Please don’t submit forms if you are under 16.

8. Changes

I will update this page if anything changes and show the new date at the top.
